Hospital Indemnity

Advantage plans and nearly every major health plan offered do not cover all hospital costs. If you’re hospitalized, you can be stuck paying the amounts not covered by your insurance, and that can get expensive. A hospital indemnity plan covers some of the costs associated with a hospital stay and may provide extra coverage that your health plan doesn’t. It provides a lump sum payment that can be used as you see fit for hospital admission, accident-related inpatient rehabilitation and hospital stays.

Hospital indemnity plans are riders to your health insurance or advantage plans. It will pay you a set amount if you are admitted to the hospital for a covered reason. Whether you’re being treated on an inpatient or outpatient basis, this coverage can help you manage your expenses. IAA offers several carriers for Hospital Indemnity Insurance so you can focus more on your recovery and less on your insurance deductibles, copays, incidental hospital charges (i.e. TV, phone, etc.) or for any purpose you chose.

For detailed coverage information for any Hospital Indemnity plans, please refer to the plan’s Evidence of Coverage.

We can help you figure out what hospital indemnity plan is right for you.
